What is Traffic Slayer?

First off, lets start with the purpose of Traffic Slayer. Traffic Slayers main purpose is to generate a large amount of  traffic to your or an affiliates website. That is it. And this factor is the primary hurdle in having a website that is profitable on the internet.

It is not intended to increase your websites Google PR (page rank), optimize your main website for the search engines,  make your website get a number one position in all the search engines, make you rich over night or many other things. But, some of these points can and have benefited by using Traffic Slayer.

It also is not intended to replace standard optimization techniques like having proper meta tags, etc. Having a pleasing to look at website should be another important factor in capitalizing on traffic. No matter how much traffic you drive to your site, if it's just a poor looking website, difficult to navigate and confusing, the traffic generated will still not convert worth a darn.

Traffic Slayer pages are not optimized so much for "human" eyes as much as "search engine eyes". A person who lands on a Traffic Slayer page is prompted to go to the main site being promoted. They are not invited to hang around as this would defeat the main purpose of Traffic Slayer. When someone wants to increase the aesthetic appearance of their Traffic Slayer pages, this can be done in the Pro Version if you know some HTML.

Traffic Slayer is a website potential maximizer. Traffic Slayer is used to promote a website, a product on a website and/or used to market an affiliate site.

Traffic Slayer is a software system that generates hundreds or even thousands of laser targeted, keyword focused content pages based on keyword possibilities that have been searched for on the Internet that relate to the topic of the website that you want to promote.  The number of keywords can rank in the hundreds or even thousands depending on the keyword.  Traffic Slayer does this quickly and automatically saving you the countless hours of work that would be required to create and upload the pages to the Internet.

As an example, if your product keyword is something like "toner" you would enter this keyword into the system and it will find all of the more specific "sub-keyword" terms searched for that include the word "toner".  In a search we did, we found 596 different keyword combinations for "toner".

Traffic Slayer will then automatically create a separate webpage for each of these laser targeted keywords.

So now instead of having to rely only on the few web pages currently in your site to bring search engine traffic for only generalized keyword terms, you can now have Traffic Slayer automatically create thousands of separate webpage's, each highly optimized for only 1 specific targeted "sub-keyword" phrase.

You will have a separate Traffic Slayer page for every sub-keyword possibility for whatever product you want to promote.

Is the use of Traffic Slayer legal?

Of course using Traffic Slayer is legal. What is not legal is inadvertent abuse of the tool. One thing that is not ok is what is now being called “search engine spamming”. What this is, is taking a tool like Traffic Slayer, creating hundreds or even thousands of exactly the same pages, content (text, images, banners etc.) and submitting them to the search engines as a block. This has a possible adverse effect on your site as the search engine spiders may pick up on this and deleted ALL of your pages from the listings. I Strongly Urge you at this point to plan your page building carefully, for example, it is far better to split a list of Keywords in to small groups of say 20 to 25 pages and select different templates for each group, in this way the search engines are less likely to view them as Sp am pages. This is easy to do with the Traffic Slayer, it just takes a little longer than creating hundreds of pages all at once.

This is the only thing anybody has every really complained about.

It’s true that people have used Traffic Slayer and other similar programs with the sole purpose of creating Google AdSense revenue by generating thousands of pages in a hurry and pushing them out onto the internet so that they could get people clicking on the Google AdSense links. This has worked and still does sometimes but is frowned upon by us here at Traffic Slayer, the creators of other similar programs and of course Google.

In each one of these cases, the pages usually get dropped very quickly and the increase is short lived. In addition, this abuse can give great tools like Traffic Slayer a bad name although there is nothing wrong with Traffic Slayer itself.

As an example, recently BMW the World renowned vehicle builders were recently Famously dropped from Google Listings for alleged Search Engine spamming. They had created literally thousands of webpage's promoting BMW vehicles using every conceivable combination of keyword you could possibly think of related to vehicles. This obviously shot them right to the number 1 position of every search engine in the World. Now if you are sat at Google's head office you don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that happening, and the Search Engine Spiders are also quite smart dudes and they can see what's going too as they are crawling around the internet all the time searching for new content. Now the spiders Love new content, after all that's mainly what they are looking for, but when they find a website with thousands and thousands of links to web pages, all with the same or similar content they are going to get kind of excited about it and start waving a few flags at Goggles front door...BMW complained.. but at the end of the day Google own the webspace that the pages are listed on so they have the right to decide the terms of use of that facility.. so be warned. BUT if you are sensible and do as we suggest and create SMALL blocks of pages using different templates then you are highly unlikely to upset anyone and Traffic Slayer will work like a dream for you.

So, understand that simply using Traffic Slayer is not bad or wrong at all. However Abusing the power of Traffic Slayer is what is frowned upon. Just read the guidelines laid out in the these FAQ's and use it as intended. It really does do what it is supposed to do.

Please see Google’s policies at: https://www.google.com/adsense/policies

Can I use Traffic Slayer if I don't have my own website?

Yes, absolutely! In fact most people using Traffic Slayer do not have their own website. In step #3 of the Traffic Slayer page creation process you will be prompted to enter the URL ( site address) which is the address of the site you want to promote. You will want to join an affiliate program and get an "affiliate I.D." which is what you will enter there. This way, as traffic goes to the web site they come through your affiliate link and you are given the credit.  However you will need a Hosting accounts to put your Traffic Slayer into. A hosting account is a space on the Internet which you rent from a hosting provider. Web space can be rented quite inexpensively and a list of providers is mentioned lower down this FAQ page to assist you. If you have never owned webspace before do not be put off, if you use the right provider they will help you to get started...and it really is not that difficult once you have taken the plunge.

How does Traffic Slayer get traffic to my website.

The secret is in the structure of the Traffic Slayer page.  Each keyword focused Traffic Slayer page is loaded with links that point directly back to your website or the site that you are promoting.  The second is the use of Banners and images.  Traffic Slayer has banners that point to the web site that you are promoting or to another web site.  Finally, Traffic Slayer uses pop-ups to help ensure the website your promoting is seen by the visitor of the Traffic Slayer pages.

What Does Traffic Slayer do for my web site?

Traffic Slayer was developed to drive qualified traffic to your website.  Traffic Slayer is a tool that does not replace your main website but enhances and compliments it.

Traffic Slayer allows you to create hundreds or thousands of web pages that are entirely focused and complimentary to your main website theme.  Each Traffic Slayer page has numerous pointers back to your main website.  In this manner, Traffic Slayer pages are set up to drive traffic to your site or an affiliate site of your choosing.

Top of Page

When should I use Traffic Slayer?

Traffic Slayer is a perfect tool to use whenever you want to attract more visitors to your website.  In short, here is how it works.  Either you currently have a website or you want to promote an affiliate website.  Use Traffic Slayer to create keyword focused content pages that point to the website.  In this way, instead of having 10 or 20 web pages, you may have hundreds or even thousands of pages all relevant to the theme of your main website with links pointing back to your main web site.

Do you recommend any Keyword Search tools?

By far, we have found that WordTracker.com has the best keyword search term finder. We can not say enough about them. You will increase the number and quality of your keywords by 10 times using this tool. For example, if you type "car" into the Traffic Slayer keyword tool, all your keywords will have the word "car" in them. But, what about the word "auto" and all the keywords you could get from that. Then the word "automobile". This too will get you many more keywords.

With WordTracker.com you get this. You get ALL the related keywords which really expands the number and quality of pages you can build. You also have the option of filtering pornographic words which are not permitted with Traffic Slayer.

Because they charge a small fee, we recommend that you have some idea of the subjects you want to promote with Traffic Slayer on the internet first.  Like, toner, motorcycles, flowers, lamps, paintings, computers, etc, etc. Write all of them down.  Then, pay for a day or week and do searches for all these subjects.  You get to do many, many searches for the time that you have.

You will be able to export and save these keywords to your computer and use them when your ready. You would then just copy the words from where you saved them on your computer and paste them into the Traffic Slayer keyword box and go to the next step.

Easy as 1 - 2 - 3. Use WordTracker.com and you will be very glad you did.

Now, there are also a couple of free Keyword search tools that you can use.

How long till I see results from the Traffic Slayer pages?

Ah! The million dollar question. To answer this we must first look to "Spider", "Listed" and "Bot".  Many of you are aware of the word "spidered".  Like in, "has my site been spidered" or several of my pages were spidered yesterday" or "the spider bot spidered my spiderable site by spidering it on Tuesday" :-) OK. OK.

Lets look at a "Bot". This is short for robot. The search engines use these "bots" to "spider" your website, website pages and/or Traffic Slayer pages.  All this means is that the search engine sends out a scout, so to speak, to see if anything is new or different out there on the World Wide Web.  It's a software program that searches for new or different content that it is programmed to consider what would be good for us humans.  The term spidered is used to get the idea of this thing with many legs, each leg scouting a different part of the Internet.

Each search engine uses it's own bot. There's the Google Bot, the MSN bot and many others.

You can even go into your web logs to see if a Bot has been there. You can check with your hosting company for this.

Now, there are literally billions and billions of web pages on the internet that the bots need to spider. This takes a considerable amount of time. Once your site is spidered, it then needs to be listed or Indexed. The Search Engines get to this as they can. We're just going to say for simplicity purposes that Listed or Indexed are basically the same thing.

These are the main factors in this question. If you could know where the search engine spiders were at any given moment, know where they were going next and how far they were actually going in that leg of the Internet, you could bottle it up and become very rich.

There have been many, many pages and reports written on predicting this activity.  They are probably all very correct too.  The problem is that the Search Engines change their "algorithms" relatively often and the thing that worked last week to get your pages listed doesn't necessarily work this week.  It changes often.

Our best advice is to link one of your Traffic Slayer Keyword pages to a site that has already been listed.  This is typically the fastest way.  If you are promoting affiliate sites, they don't let you link to them that way.  So what you have to do in this case is to submit one of your Traffic Slayer Keyword pages to a submission service like http://submitexpress.com.  This can take a good amount of time also though.  You can also use a service like http://www.ineedhits.com.  This is a paid service but much faster.  There are many such services.  Just remember if you use a submission service to submit a Traffic Slayer KEYWORD PAGE and NOT AN INDEX PAGE.   This is the one with all the Index-1, index-2, etc. on it.

In terms of actual time, we've seen Traffic Slayer pages listed in as little as 3 days.   This is called luck.  We have seen pages take up to 4 to 5 months also. It all depends on the search engines and how your site is constructed in the first place. In other words there are no golden routes to getting your Traffic Slayer pages listed, unless you really know what you are doing with regards to site optimization. In short, your Traffic Slayer pages will do there job, but it sometimes needs a little patience to see the results.

There is good news though.  While you are waiting for your Traffic Slayer pages to get listed you sometimes have lots of time to build lots more.  This is a great time to learn more about the internet and how you can get the most from Traffic Slayer.

How can I tell if my site has been spidered?

This is covered in the last question. It's as simple as going into your web logs and taking a look.  If you need help with this you will have to contact your hosting company on this.  There are many ways and it depends on what software the hosting company uses and if you have this capability.

What is the difference between the Free, and Pro versions of Traffic Slayer?

The free Lite version is designed for someone who is interested in driving free targeted traffic to their website. In the free version, there are Google Adsense or Pay per Click ads, and Amazon links which are owned by Traffic-Traffic Slayer, and banners promoting the links of one of our JV Affiliates who gave you this Free version of traffic-Traffic Slayer Application. So, while generating traffic to your website, Traffic-Traffic Slayer owners make a little income from Adsense and Amazon, and your JV Affiliate earns from the banner ads on each page created by you. It's the least you can do since it's free and the owners of Traffic Slayer paid money to produce and market it, and the JV Affiliate who promotes it.

The Pro Version of Traffic Slayer was designed for the website owner or Internet Marketer who wants to maximize their Internet marketing income potential by driving traffic to web sites. This version is the most popular and the one we recommend for most people. In the Pro version, the Google or Pay per Click ads, Amazon links and banners on the Traffic Slayer pages belong to the Pro user. In addition to the above, in the "extra html" section, you are free to put in any affiliate programs that you want. That way, along with driving traffic to the website of their choice they also make money on the ads and banners they insert on the Traffic Slayer pages.

I have the Free version of Traffic Slayer. How do I upgrade to the Pro Version?

You can upgrade your version of Traffic Slayer at any time.  You must however download through the same affiliate link or Joint Venture Affiliate that initially recommended you to Traffic Slayer.  If you know the name of that partner you can go directly to the web page by using the following link:

If you don’t remember the name of the Traffic Slayer Joint Venture Affiliate who referred you to Traffic Slayer, his or her name will be found in many of the links that are contained in the follow-up emails sent to you after you downloaded Traffic Slayer.

You can also go to  http://trafficslayer.com/http://trafficslayer.com/ProUpgrade.htm

Top of Page

Can I turn Traffic Slayer into a business opportunity?

The answer is YES!  There are many ways of earning income with Traffic Slayer. Pro Members keep the revenue generated by the Google Adsense ads and Amazon ads on their own pages in addition to the traffic generated by Traffic Slayer and any other type of affiliate advertising they may do.

Top of Page

Does Traffic Slayer have an Affiliate Program?

Yes it does.  The affiliate program is only available by application to people who have purchased the Pro Edition of Traffic Slayer.

As an Affiliate you can get paid recurring commissions on people who upgrade to Pro from your links, plus make cash on the additional income streams that have been built into the thousands of pages your free users will be creating.

As Affiliate you can have a small army all doing work that will do nothing but make you cash. Their incentive to do this work is the traffic they will receive.

Our affiliate program is a two-tier program. Any of your free users that upgrade to Traffic Slayer Pro, will generate a 40% commission for you. This upgrade is your first tier.  When any of these people distribute a free version of Traffic Slayer to someone who then upgrades to a Pro you are also entitled to a second tier commission of 10%.

What do I need in order to use Traffic Slayer?

To run Traffic Slayer there are a few things that you will need and this applies to the Free version as well:

 1)       A Web Hosting account that:

a.       Is Unix/Linux based and

b.       supports PHP 4.01 or later with

c.       Zlib compression installed and

d.       the “get file” command must be supported.

e.       Change Mode (chmod) permissions need to be able to be set to 777

f.       Safe_mode = Off

To run Traffic Slayer version 2 Professional Edition  these are the things that you will need :

1)       A Web Hosting account configuration of:

a.       Is Unix/Linux based operating system

b.       Server API is Apache or CGI

c.       Sockets Enabled

d.       Allow_url_fopen = On

e.       Session Support = Enabled

f.        Safe_mode = Off

g.     To properly view version 2 of Traffic Slayer, the Internet Explorer  web browser  is needed. At this time the Mozilla Firefox web browser is not compatible for viewing nor is Mac.

If you are unsure of the above, you can contact your hosting account support area and they will gladly tell you if the above is supported on their server and most if not all of these are very common but it is important to make sure if you are not going to use one of the recommended hosting companies.

The difficulties with finding a compatible host are not uncommon with many software products. The difficulties arise out of the fact that there are no set standards in the hosting industry. Server administrators are not trained in a uniform fashion, hence the need to find compatible hosting.

If your server does not support these requirements we recommend that you consider web hosting at one of the companies below.

All of these companies are independently owned and operated and not associated with Traffic Slayer other than on a referral basis. They start at around $2.99 per month up to $25 per month. Look them over and see which one you like. We've tested Traffic Slayer with all of these companies and we personally use them ourselves.

When choosing a hosting account there are usually several different options in the amount of disk space being offered. Disk space is measured in megabytes or MG for short. You will find 50MB, 500MB, 1000MB and more. To help determine which will be best for you, you can guess that every 50 Traffic Slayer pages you create will use up approximately 1 megabyte.  So if you have 50MG of space then you can guess that you will be able to fit about 2500 Traffic Slayer pages. This is an approximate figure and can vary greatly depending on the number of images you have on your Traffic Slayer pages and other factors.

And frankly, 2500 Traffic Slayer pages used to promote 1 web site is a lot.

2)       A domain name if you do not currently have one set up on a compatible hosting account. If you need a domain name you can purchase one at www.wired2host.com

3)       If your current web hosting account supports the above then you do not need to have a new domain name and you can create your Traffic Slayer pages in a subdirectory of your main domain.  Please note that the recommended installation method is to have a separate domain name promoting your website which is where your Traffic Slayer pages will reside.  There are many website's from which you can purchase a domain name.  We often use the above domain name company.

4)       A FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program such as WS_FTP Pro or Cute_FTP or Smart FTP.  This program will be needed to transfer the Traffic Slayer files from your PC to your Web Hosting account. In the Traffic Slayer user videos, we use WS_FTP Pro. If you go to the site link above you can download a free 30 day demo. It might be easier to follow the video if you do this.

I don’t want to purchase a second Web Hosting account. Can I still use Traffic Slayer?

No.  This is not the recommended way to use and run Traffic Slayer but we have gone to the trouble of finding hosting companies that offer accounts for as little as $2.95 per month.

To determine what is needed to run Traffic Slayer see the question: “What do I need in order to use Traffic Slayer?” above.

What's the proper way to set up Traffic Slayer?

Below are two diagrams. The one on top shows how to place and direct your Traffic Slayer pages and the Traffic Slayer program. The one below it is an example of what not to do. Look them over and remember that you can always refer back to them later if needed.

I need a Web Host; who do you suggest?

I Recommend Wired2Host they have all you need already in place www.wired2host.com

Where can I easily register a domain name?

There are many web sites on the Internet that can be used to register a domain name.  We have used www.wired2host.com with great success  .

Top of Page

Can I use my Traffic Slayer web pages as my main or primary web site that I'm promoting?

No, Traffic Slayer does not work that way. You will need a domain name and a hosting account to run Traffic Slayer. If you already have your own website and you own or rent the hosting account it is at and it's compatible with Traffic Slayer it will work.

We cannot install Traffic Slayer on a biz opp (business opportunity) or affiliate site. These types of websites are owned and managed by others and don't give permission to access the site the way you need in order to install Traffic Slayer.

You need your own hosting account to build your Traffic Slayer pages on, then you can point these pages to your biz opp or affiliate site to promote it.

We recommend the hosting companies listed above which have in the past all run the Traffic Slayer system.

I use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques to ensure my pages rank high with the search engines. Why do I need Traffic Slayer?

There are several reasons why you need Traffic Slayer.

Firstly:

If you are using "Search Engine Optimization Techniques" to set up pages that will rank well for the same terms that every other company in your related field are also setting up their pages for, it's common sense that you can't all rank on the top of the search engines for the same keywords.

BUT... If you created hundreds of pages for different, more targeted "sub-keywords' like, "canon e-40 toner cartridge" instead of just "toner" you will have a much better shot at having a large number of these pages rank in the top 10 than by using the broader keyword terms.

Proper SEO is a also key and there are good companies that can help with this. But, since Traffic Slayer does not optimize your main web site you will eventually want this area looked at also.

We all know that if you are not in the top 30, you may as well not even be in the search engine.  With our system, you can have hundreds of top ranking pages delivering you a Traffic Slayer.

Secondly:

Since Traffic Slayer is a system, each of its pages are created to attract not only the attention of the search engines but also to provide full easy to read content for us humans.

Thirdly:

Traffic Slayer will automatically create a separate webpage for each of these laser targeted keywords.

So now instead of having to rely only on the few web pages currently in your site to bring you search engine traffic for only generalized keyword terms (the same terms everyone else is optimizing their pages for), you can now have Traffic Slayer automatically create thousands of separate webpage's, each highly optimized for only 1 specific targeted "sub-keyword" phrase!

You will have a separate Traffic Slayer page for every sub-keyword possibility for whatever product you may be trying to sell.

Top of Page

I want to use Google Ads and Pay per Click (PPC) on the same Traffic Slayer pages.  Can I do that?

You will want to be sure you do not show Pay Per Click (PPC) ads on any pages you have Google ads displayed on. Google does not allow competing ads and Pay per Click ads are considered competing ads.

Top of Page

Will my site get penalized by the Search Engines if I use Traffic Slayer?

Search Engine algorithms are constantly changing.  At this time, we know of no instances where a site has been proven to be penalized for using Traffic Slayer.  Unfortunately that is no guarantee that there wont be some impact on any website in the future.  We are constantly reviewing search engines and working to ensure that the content and also the format of Traffic Slayer pages are acceptable to both your human consumers for the content and also to the search engine spiders (bots). We have seen website's get kicked off for no apparent reason even when NOT using Traffic Slayer or anything even similar. Search engines can be this way unfortunately and they don't have to say why either.

Top of Page

What are the dangers of using a Template Tool?

Patterns!  Traffic Slayer along with several other similar page generation tools, create many, many pages that then get listed in the search engines.  Spiders, which is  software created by search engines with the purpose of crawling the world-wide-web in search of content, are programmed to detect patterns and many other things.  Some patterns might be good one week and some another.  This goes back to algorithms programmed in by tech staff that work for search engines like Google, MSN, Yahoo, etc., whose main purpose is to keep people from having what they consider an unfair advantage.

We have gone to great length in ensuring that your pages that are created by Traffic Slayer are acceptable to both the Search Engine Spiders and to human visitors to your Traffic Slayer pages.   Also, Traffic Slayer’s research staff is constantly monitoring the search engines to try and predict what might cause a red flag on a website.   It must however be said, that we cannot control the behavior of the Search Engines and what is acceptable one day may not be acceptable the next.

Top of Page

What will Traffic Slayer Not Do?

Traffic Slayer is not intended to increase your website's Google PR (page rank), optimize your main website for the search engines,  make your website get a number one position in all the search engines, make you rich over night or many other things. But, some of these points can and have benefited by using Traffic Slayer.

Traffic Slayer is not designed to get your Web site listed faster with the search engines either.  There are several approaches that we recommend for getting your web pages listed faster though.

We recommend such services as http://www.submitexpress.com or http://www.ineedhits.com.  Submit only one Traffic Slayer KEYWORD page. That's all that is needed since all the pages are linked anyway.

The best way to get Traffic Slayer traffic to your main website, as long as it is listed with the search engines, is to put a link to one of your Traffic Slayer KEYWORD pages on your main website. You can make the link very small (even as small as 1pt.).

Then, when the search engine’s spider your main website page, it "discovers" the link to the Traffic Slayer page. Once it goes to the Traffic Slayer keyword page it will spider all of the links on that page which leads them to all of the Traffic Slayer index and sub-directory and other keyword pages with link-backs to your primary website main page. This is exactly what is supposed to happen and it is what can optimize your site in the search engines. Also, everyone who searches and finds one of your Traffic Slayer pages is lead to your main website main page through links and pop ups also.

You can also use a submission service.  However, we do recommend that you submit your main web site and use the link as described in strategy 1 above to link to the Traffic Slayer pages. If you are promoting an affiliate site and wish to submit a Traffic Slayer page, pick a KEYWORD page, not the index page and submit that one page.

There are many other techniques that you can use if you do a little bit of research on the Web.

Does Traffic Slayer work on my home/office computers?

Traffic Slayer was designed and implemented to work on Web Servers running Unix or Linux.   Traffic Slayer does not run on a  Mac or on a Windows PC home or office computer.  To access Traffic Slayer you use your computer's Web Browser (for example, Internet Explorer or Mozilla or Netscape) therefore, virtually any computer that can access the internet can use Traffic Slayer.  What you are running you browser on, PC or Mac does not matter.

The only exception to this is if you are running version 2. Mac web browsers are not compatible currently but there may be a Mac compatible version in the future.

2)    If you don't already have a domain name, get one.  You can get low cost domain names at www.wired2host.com

3)    If you don't already have a compatible hosting account to host your Traffic Slayer pages, you can get one at:  www.wired2host.com

4)    Install Traffic Slayer on your Web Hosting Account

How can I tell what my Traffic Slayer pages will look like?

Although the tools are built into Traffic Slayer that will allow you to choose the colors for the background and foreground we suggest that you refine the look and feel of your Traffic Slayer pages by creating only 1 page to start.  You can then review the created page using your browser and see if you like it or not.   Start this process over until you are happy with the results.  Once you have chosen a template style and color combination that you like, then load the Traffic Slayer with your keywords and away you go.  By taking your time up front, you will get much better results and be more satisfied with the pages you create.
